Harry Styles could miss out on No1 for debut single ‘Sign of the Times’ because of Spotify!

Fans are furious as Harry Styles could miss out on No1 spot for solo debut single ‘Sign of the Times’ thanks to a Spotify error.

One Direction star, Harry Styles may have missed out on hundreds of thousands of streams of his debut single ‘Sign of the Times’ because of a Spotify streaming error.

Harry launched his solo career on Friday with his debut single ‘Sign of the Times’ – Fans were unable to find the single on Spotify shortly after release because of an error.

‘Sign of the Times’ jumped straight up the Official UK Charts thanks to online downloads and sales, but fans were unable to stream the song on Spotify.

Harry’s single hasn’t yet caught up with Ed Sheeran’s ‘Shape Of You’ as he may have lost a huge chunk of streams after the Spotify error.

A source told The Sun: “This is a nightmare start for Harry’s solo career. Many fans couldn’t find his song.

“It’s likely he missed out on hundreds of thousands of streams. That could really affect chart position come Friday.”

Spotify have made no official comment at the moment, but they did tweet this:
