The first Time Lord will star with Peter Capaldi for Doctor Who Christmas special!

David Bradley has been revealed to play William Hartnell’s original Doctor, and will join Peter Capaldi in the Doctor Who Christmas special.

David Bradley will play William Hartnell’s original Doctor; David first played the role in the show’s 2013 50th celebration.

David Bradley first appeared in BBC sci-fi show’s 50th drama ‘An Adventure In Space and Time’, and will now join Capaldi in this year’s Christmas episode.

David’s appearance will follow the departure of Pearl Mackie as Bill Potts at the end the series.

Despite Doctor Who returning last weekend, news has broke that Pearl will not return as Bill in the next series – Despite rave reviews last weekend of her character.

The two Doctor’s must work together to save home ‘Gallifrey’ by moving it to another dimension.

“David was convincing as Hartnell, it’s exciting he’s back” a source told The Mirror.

“Four years ago it took all the previous Doctors to save Gallifrey, so maybe some of the others will also pop up in Capaldi’s swansong.

“It’s great that the 1st Doctor will be there to help out during those all-important regeneration moments.”
