Rylan Clark-Neal has deactivated his Twitter after online abuse from his new TV show.
Rylan has quit his Twitter following abuse over his new game show – His Twitter handle @Rylan is no longer accessible on the platform.
Rylan has reportedly left the major social networking website after attacks came flooding in from fans of ITV game show The Chase.
There were numerous reports that Rylan’s new show Babushka has replaced The Chase for May – In fact The Chase is on a break next month and Rylan’s new show is a temporary replacement.
Rylan tweeted before deactivating his Twitter: “Getting a bit ridiculous now, Just doing my job. Enjoy the show. Coming off here for a while.”
In a recent interview with DigitalSpy, Rylan said: “At the end of the day, I’m still here and I’m doing well for myself. I’ve bought my first house – no, actually, I built my first house from scratch! How many people can say that?
“I’m proud of what I’ve done and what I’m doing.”
The presenter added: “To be honest, people don’t usually give me a hard time on Twitter. When I’m on live TV, I mess up all the time, but the reason I get away with it is because I never cover it up.
“If I f**k up, I’ll just say. The worst thing you can do is try to hide it. I just blame my veneers!”
