Boss Simon Cowell has axed a handful of Britain’s Got Talent acts from this year’s series after their “professionals” pasts were exposed in the media.
Simon was reportedly not happy when he discovered a number of acts who made it through the audition round actually had secret professional pasts.
Before the judges deliberation day, Simon had already axed a number of acts from the picking.
A source told The Daily Star: ‘A lot of the acts who are in the semi-finals are genuine performers looking for their first break rather “Second Chance Charlies”.’
One of the acts reportedly dropped from BGT is Sian Patterson, a 31-year-old accounts manager from Warwickshire, she sung ‘With You’ from the musical Ghost for her audition.
Another is contortionist group Angara Contortion, they were found to have been part of ‘Cirque de Soleil’.
Acrobats Gao Lin and Liu Xin have been reportedly axed after featuring on Asian and China’s Got Talent.
Crazy magician and razor-blade eater TanBA from Japan has been axed after being a professional magician.
