Britain’s Got Talent 2017: Ant and Dec interrupt act because of technical issues!

Ant and Dec were forced to interrupt St. Patrick’s Junior Choir Drumgreenagh because of technical issues!

Tonight saw the first live semi final of the week, with eight acts hoping to impress the panel and the TV audience to win one of the two spots in the live grand final.

However, it didn’t take long for something to wrong as the first act of the night, St.Patrick’s Junior Choir Drumgreenagh had to be interrupted by Ant and Dec just as they began their song because of technical issues.

Ant and Dec hurried onto the stage to stop the choir before they started singing:

“We’re just going to stop it there for a minute, we’ve just had a few technical issues. Are we ready to go? Everyone alright? Okay, let’s go again.” Dec explained.

Yet, this did not prevent the choir from delivering a stunning performance of Katy Perry’s Roar.

After their performance, Ant explained the specific technological issue:

“Sorry about the issue at the start there, the background music would not start so we let them start again.”

The judges were quick to compliment the choir on how well they dealt with the chaos:

Simon commented ” It’s funny because I know the chaos going up in the gallery, but you were just so calm.”

“They handled it like professionals.” Ant and Dec remarked after they left the stage.

Britain’s Got Talent airs every night this week on ITV at 7:30pm.
