Ant McPartlin checks into rehab after admitting he has a ‘drink and drugs problem’!

Ant McPartlin has checked into rehab after confessing to his wife and co-host Dec he has a drink and drugs problem, according to reports.

The multi-millionaire and TV presenter Anthony McPartlin has confessed he has problems with ‘substance abuse, prescription drugs and booze’, The Sun reports.

Ant reportedly wept as he revealed his dangerous problems to wife Lisa and co-star Declan Donnelly.

Last night Ant said: “The first step is to admit to yourself you need help.

“I’ve let people down. I’m truly sorry.

“I feel like I have let a lot of people down and for that I’m truly sorry.

“I want to thank my wife, family and closest friends through this really difficult time.

He added to paper: “I have spoken out because I think it is important that people ask for help if they are going through a rough time and get the proper treatment to help their recovery.”

Ant is expected to stay at least two months in a clinic receiving help.

Ant and Dec together earned a total of £29.5million in the past 12 months.

We’re wishing Ant a speedy recovery, and we praise him for seeking the help he needs.
