I’m A Celebrity bosses postpone filming to ‘allow Ant time to recover’!

I’m A Celebrity bosses have postponed filming for the new series to allow Ant more time to recover after being released from rehab.

Pre-filming for the brand new series of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! has been delayed by bosses to allow Ant time to recover from his dangerous addictions.

I’m A Celebrity is still expected to begin in November but usually hosts Ant and Dec film adverts, pre-clips, and teasers for the new series ahead of its annual release.

A source told The Sun: “It would have been the first day filming but with Ant away, there is no way they could get started,

“Ant needed some space away,” the source added.

“Everyone completely understands.”

Despite rumours of Gogglebox star Scarlett Moffatt or TV presenter Holly Willoughby replacing Anthony McPartlin to star alongside Declan Donnelly, it appears Ant will return for the new series.

“Ant and Dec are a team with a huge emotional bond, they are like brothers and and Dec will only be hosting I’m A Celebrity with Ant by his side.” A source told The Mirror.

“They’ve got months yet to sort things out and the hope is that Ant will bounce back with another hit series of I’m A Celebrity and they will move on from this chapter in their career.”

I’m A Celebrity returns later this year.
