Cheryl ‘set to replace Nicole Scherzinger’ in huge X Factor deal!

Cheryl is reportedly set to replace Nicole Scherzinger in a huge X Factor deal worth £1.5million.

Simon Cowell and X Factor producers are reportedly planning on bringing Cheryl back as a judge next year with a huge deal.

Cheryl first joined The X Factor back in 2008, she then left in 2011 for the American X Factor, that didn’t work out for the judge and she returned to the UK version in 2014.

ITV might be ‘willing to break the bank’ to get Cheryl back for next year’s show in a deal worth £1.5million, as it’s likely Nicole Scherzinger will not return.

A source told The Sun: “It looks like Cheryl will be back next year. Simon knows Nicole is likely to leave and he wants a big name, and some much-needed glamour on the panel,

“He knows he will get that with Cheryl and she would be a really popular signing and a huge hit.”

They added: “They have had several meetings about it and Simon has had his top people on the case to make sure it is all sorted.”

An X Factor spokesman said: “Everyone is focused on the current series of The X Factor at the moment. No formal decision will be made on The X Factor judging panel for 2018 until next year.”

Cheryl made a guest appearance at this year’s judges’ houses with Simon Cowell where they briefly mentioned about an idea for the singer to return.

Simon was asked by the Daily Star if he’d have Cheryl back on the panel, he said: “We’ll consider it. Let’s wait till the end of the show… maybe [current judges Nicole Scherzinger and Sharon Osbourne] don’t want come back [next year and there will be a space on the panel].

“Let’s see what happens, I wouldn’t rule anything out.”

Although Cheryl ruled out the possibility of a return, she does want to spent some more time with her seven-month-old son Bear.

She explained: “I want to be with Bear a little bit longer. It has just been me and him and I’m just loving being a mother at the moment.

“I’ve got time – I’ve got that luxury lifestyle and some mothers don’t have that luxury and have to get back to work. I’m just taking it as I can but I do love the show.”
