A teaser for John Lewis’ Christmas advert may have been posted online days before official release.
A 4-second teaser video clip has been spotted on social media, and it probably is John Lewis’ eagerly awaited Christmas advert for 2017.
A mysterious and new Twitter account named @UnderTheBed2017 has posted the teaser clip online of a cuddly creature whose eyes can only been seen.
Many are speculating online that it could be the retailers new Christmas advert, as users have seen the Twitter account advertising on their social timelines.
Although nothing else has been released, the clip has the hashtag #UnderTheBed – Similar to #BareandHare, #ManOnTheMoon and #BounceBounce from previous John Lewis adverts.
Many have commented on social media:
So I wasn't the only one to see #UnderTheBed and instantly think John Lewis then?!

A spokesperson from John Lewis said when contacted for a statement: “Thank you for getting in touch but as you suspect we don’t comment on speculation about our advert.”
‘Buster the Boxer’ was John Lewis’ Christmas ad last year, apparently this year their ad is expected to feature a “big cuddly monster”.
A source told OK!: “The creative team behind the John Lewis advert have pulled out all the stops this year,
“It’s going to be like nothing they’ve ever done before and will be a million miles away from Buster the Boxer.
“This year the John Lewis advert will revolve around a big cuddly monster. If you can imagine a cross between the Gruffalo and a huge cute teddy bear, that’s the angle they’ve gone for.”
