Glee Broadcasts Drug Addiction PSAs During Cory’s Episode!

The cast of hit TV show ‘Glee’ have recorded and broadcasted public service announcement  about drug addiction whilst ‘The Quaterback’ Cory Monteith memorial episode was being aired America.

Cory’s fellow Glee cast members Jane Lynch, Matthew Morrison, Kevin McHale and Chord  Overstreet all recorded PSAs to raise addiction awareness. In these videos they spoke about untrue assumptions that surround drug abuse and are encouraging people who are affected by drug addiction to get help.

These 30 second PSAs all featured a photo of Cory Monteith, who died of an accidental overdose in July when he was only 31, with the caption ‘In memoriam, Cory Monteith 1982-2013’.

One of Cory’s favourite charities was the Performing Arts Foundation Project Limelight, so all profits from his memorial episode will be donated to that. The memorial episode will air in the UK next Friday, October 18th, on Sky1.

TwitCelebGossip completely support the cast on the video and we feel for Cory’s family and friends.
