I’m A Celebrity producers are switching things up this year and are going for a Love Island inspired series.
It appears I’m A Celebrity producers are going to try and win over Love Island viewers with a different approach this year.
ITV are going against themselves for the title of ‘Biggest UK Reality Show’ this year by trying to win over millions of ITV2 Love Island viewers with a restyled I’m A Celebrity.
It’s been reported that producers will sex-up the celebrity camp this year with ‘Love Island-style romping’.
In attempt to sex-up the camp, producers have introduced the first X-rated “love bath” the jungle has seen. The bath has been installed next to the famous waterfall shower.
Not only has a new bath been installed for the celebs to get wet and wild, a “canoodle corner” has been installed as well.
It appears ITV bosses are hoping I’m A Celebrity can beat Love Island’s summer success – or come close to.
I’m A Celebrity producer told the Daily Star: “There could be romance with our cast this year – there are a lot of very good-looking people and some good potential couples coming our way.”
The ten celebrities heading into the Jungle for the new series are: Jennie McAlpine, Dennis Wise, Rebekah Vardy, Jack Maynard, Shappi Khorsandi, Amir Khan, Stanley Johnson, Vanessa White, Jamie Lomas and Georgia “Toff” Toffolo.
I’m A Celebrity 2017 launches this Sunday (November 19) on ITV at 9pm.
