I’m A Celebrity 2017: Rebekah Vardy faces her worst nightmare on Day 1!

Rebekah Vardy has been thrown in at the deep end on I’m A Celebrity 2017 as she comes face to face with her worst nightmare.

The much anticipated new series of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! begins tonight on ITV.

10 brand new celebrities have swapped luxury for life in the I’m A Celebrity jungle and will face their fears over the next three weeks.

The cast of 2017 are ex-politician and author Stanley Johnson, actress and soap star Jennie McAlpine, wife of Jamie Vardy Rebekah Vardy, retired footballer Dennis Wise, Youtuber and vlogger Jack Maynard, actor and soap star Jamie Lomas, reality TV star Georgia Toffolo, comedian Shappi Khorsandi, singer and pop star Vanessa White and boxer Amir Khan.

In tonight’s launch show all ten celebrities were greeted by Ant & Dec at a luxury Gold Coast villa as they all met for the first time.

Then Ant and Dec explained to the celebrities that they’d be taking part in various challenges en route to the jungle.

Stanley and Rebekah arrived at the wretched wreck and found out they were to take part in a challenge with mysterious hell holes.

They discovered various holes on the side of a wrecked wooden boat and had to put their hands in each to retrieve coloured tokens but in true I’m A Celebrity style, the holes weren’t empty.

Stanley had to retrieve tokens guarded by crabs and then toads and yabbies and Rebekah had to do the same with rats, and then spiders, cockroaches and scorpions.

“My worst nightmare would be putting my hand in a hole with a spider.” said Rebekah.

Meanwhile Amir, Vanessa, Jack, Jennie, Jamie and Georgia had to ‘Walk the Plank’ 334 feet up.

Dennis and Shappi had to skydive into water.

I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! launches Sunday 19th November at 9pm on ITV.
