Dec Donnelly has said he likes this year’s I’m A Celebrity Extra Camp lineup better than previous years.
I’m A Celebrity… Extra Camp has had a brand new lineup for the 2017 series, and Dec has revealed he prefers this year’s hosting panel.
Current Queen of the Jungle Scarlett Moffatt, 2016 runner up and comedian Joel Dommett and Jungle favourite and former King of the Jungle Joe Swash are this year’s Extra Camp hosts.
On tonight’s first Extra Camp episode of the series, Ant and Dec sat and talked about this year’s launch show.
During the discussion Dec said he preferred this year’s lineup in a small dig at previous hosts Vicky Pattison and Joe’s girlfriend Stacey Solomon.
Ant said he was ‘surprised’ that Joe kept his place on the panel instead of Stacey who was given the axe.
“I much prefer you to all the people last year,” Dec joked.
Ant told Joe: “I’m surprised you’re hear son, if I’m being honest.”
After Scarlett was told she got the thumbs up to return as an Extra Camp presenter, she said: “After last years Jungle experience which was a dream come true, I can’t believe I’m so lucky to have the dream continue by being part of this amazing show and joining the ITV2 Extra Camp team,
“It’s going to be so much fun.”
Joel Dommett said: “I’m unbelievably excited to be going back into the Jungle for Extra Camp. Ever since ‘I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here’ got me out of there, I’ve been wanting desperately to get back in there. I can’t blooming wait!”
Joe Swash said: “I’m A Celebrity is always one of my favourite times of the year, I can’t wait to find out who is going in this year. I’m really looking forward to working with the new ITV2 Extra Camp team.”
I’m A Celebrity… Extra Camp airs on ITV2 after the main show concludes on ITV every night.
