It has been revealed that this year’s X Factor 2017 winners duet will be in aid of two children’s charities, Together for Short Lives and Shooting Star Chase.

The winner of The X Factor 2017 will release the Winner’s Duet on Sunday 3rd December at approximately 22:00 GMT.

All proceeds from the track are in aid of children’s hospice charities, Together for Short Lives and Shooting Star Chase.

The songs will first be performed by the finalists and their respective guest artist on Saturday night’s final.

Rak-Su will team up with Grammy-award winning rapper Wyclef Jean; Grace Davies will duet with BRIT Award winner Paloma Faith, who last month topped the UK charts with her album The Architect and Kevin Davy White will be joined on stage by multi-instrumentalist, composer and producer Tokio Myers.

The Winner’s Duet will be available to download and stream after the winner of The X Factor has been announced on Sunday night and will be The X Factor UK’s 10th charity release.

Simco Limited will donate 100% of its profits from the sale of each download and in respect of all audio streaming of the single, and the Chancellor has also agreed to donate the VAT, in each case to be shared equally by Together For Short Lives and Shooting Star Chase. This donation will be at least 20p plus VAT for each download sold in the UK.

The X Factor 2017 concludes this weekend on ITV.
