I’m A Celebrity 2017: Shappi Khorsandi was given ‘secret food parcels’ in the jungle!

Shappi Khorsandi has revealed that she was given ‘secret food parcels’ while she was in the I’m A Celebrity jungle.

Shappi Khorsandi was the first celebrity campmate to be eliminated from I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here 2017.

Since leaving the jungle, Shappi has revealed that I’m A Celebrity producers delivered her secret vegan food parcels – which was not shown on TV.

The comedian had to have vegan food after the meat that was presented to camp made her seriously ill.

“The worst thing that happened to me was I thought, ‘Come on, it’s not a religion.’ So I had meat” Shappi told The Mirror.

“and I was really, really physically sick, five times in one hour,” she continued.

“It was horrible and then after that I asked for vegan food and they were very accommodating, it was fine.”

After being evicted from the jungle, Shappi told Ant and Dec: “I’m so happy. Two weeks was enough in there.

“I’ve got a four year old and I ached for my children.”

She added: “I wanted to do more creepy crawlies, my speciality is snakes and beetles. I got off lightly.”

I’m A Celebrity continues nightly on ITV.
