Gemma Collins has revealed she wants to start a family this Christmas – and also opened up about the horror Radio 1 fall.
The Only Way Is Essex star has opened up in a recent interview saying she’s desperate to become a mother, but fears it won’t come true unless she loses weight.
Gemma has said she’s ‘devastated’ that her weight is stopping her having a baby, speaking exclusively to OK! Magazine, she said she’ll start fertility treatment to increase her chances of having a baby.
Gemma told the paper: “I’ll need help having a baby.
“I asked my doctors to put me on Clomid [a fertility treatment] as it increases your chances of falling pregnant, but they said I can’t just keep taking it.
“When I’m ready to have a baby they’ll do everything you need to do. Now I’m older I have fewer eggs and I can’t freeze them because my egg count is too low.”
Speaking to The Sun newspaper she added: “I refuse to have a gastric band, as easy as it would be. I have overcome so many things in my life and I will overcome my weight – but I need time and focus to do it.”
Gemma also went into detail about her horror tumble as she presented the Best TV award to Amber Davies, Jamie Jewitt and Marcel Somerville at the Radio 1 Teen Awards.
“Everyone around me is on fall alert now.
“I’ve changed my shoes and gone for a thicker heel! I never used to look where I was going. Now someone checks out the area before I arrive to make sure there’s nowhere for me to fall!”
“It was bloody painful. I’ll never live it down. I was laughing so much I wet myself.”
