I’m A Celebrity 2017: Stanley Johnson is the fifth campmate voted off!

Stanley Johnson is the fifth celebrity campmate eliminated from I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here 2017.

After more than two weeks in the jungle, it was time for Stanley Johnson to say goodbye as he was the latest celebrity to be evicted from the show.

Stanley made I’m A Celebrity history on the show, he was the oldest campmate the reality show has ever seen.

The 77-year-old was excluded from most of the BushTucker trials during his time in camp due to ‘medical reasons’, but that didn’t stop the politician winning over the British public with his bright personality.

Although surviving 20 days in the jungle, Stanley admitted he was “gutted to be out”.

Stanley told Ant and Dec in the I’m A Celebrity studio: “It’s been a wonderful time, it couldn’t have been better.”

Before Stanley entered the jungle he revealed he’s never actually watched I’m A Celebrity before, the gregarious and likeable 77-year old explained he jumped at the opportunity to go on the ITV programme because he liked the element of adventure and competition.

“I am very much looking forward to it,” said Stanley.

“I love Australia and I’ve done lots of different things in my life but I would say that I have not lived in a Jungle before.”

Stanley follows Vanessa White, Rebekah VardyKezia Dugdale and Shappi Khorsandi out of the famous jungle after receiving the fewest public votes.
