American R&B singer Ginuwine has reportedly signed up for Celebrity Big Brother 2018 in January.
American R&B singer Ginuwine, 47, is reportedly heading into the Celebrity Big Brother house early next year as Channel 5 bosses hope for ‘romance’.
A source told The Sun: “Ginuwine is single and known for being a seriously smooth operator.
“Producers are hoping that one of the female contestants will fall for his irresistible charms and spark a romance in the house.
The insider added: “He is a fun and lively character and is likely to be a real favourite among viewers.”
Ginuwine is best known for his huge ’90s classic ‘Pony’, which has since been used for Channing Tatum’s blockbuster ‘Magic Mike’. Not only does ‘Pony’ feature in the films trailer, but it’s also mentioned several times throughout the film.
Ginuwine joins Love Island’s Jonny Mitchell in the Celebrity Big Brother house.
Jonny Mitchell was the first celebrity to be ‘confirmed’ for the new series of CBB.
“Viewers really enjoyed watching him on Love Island this summer – and clearly there’s still more to see from Jonny,” a source told the paper.
“He is guaranteed to bring some drama to the house and romance one of the female contestants.”
Celebrity Big Brother will launch the new series with an all-female cast of celebrity housemates in a salute to a centenary of women’s suffrage on Channel 5.
Hosted by Emma Willis, the show will initially explore how the all-female housemates interact, from politicians to performing artists, as they enter the house first, ahead of the celebrity male housemates.
Celebrity Big Brother 2018 launches in January 2018.
