Fantastic Beasts 2 unveils brand new snaps of Jude Law as Dumbledore!

New Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald photos have been unveiled showing Jude Law as Dumbledore, Eddie Redmayne as Newt and Johnny Depp as Grindelwald.

Production on Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald officially came to an end last week, and while we wait for a new trailer, some brand new pictures have been released.

New pictures from Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald have been released online while fans wait for an official trailer for the highly anticipated sequel.

The production images show Jude Law as a younger Albus Dumbledore, Eddie Redmayne reprising his role of Newt Scamander and, Gellert Grindelwald played by Johnny Depp.

The first image is captioned: “Gellert Grindelwald in the streets of Paris, with one of his followers.”

Next we have the famous Dumbledore, who’s pictured in an office with an unknown man behind him.

Lastly, brand new pictures of Newt Scamander and Tina Goldstein (Katherine Waterston) were released by Empire Magazine ahead of the official trailer.

The second film in the Fantastic Beasts series will show Dumbledore decades before he became Headmaster at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

At this point in the story he is the wizarding school’s Transfiguration professor and a contemporary of Gellert Grindelwald – the Dark wizard we met in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, played by Depp.

Dumbledore was referenced in the first film, when it was revealed that Newt Scamander was expelled from Hogwarts because of an accident with a magical creature.

It was Dumbledore who argued against his expulsion.

The sequel to Fantastic Beasts is set for release 16 November 2018.
