Channel 5 have confirmed the first male housemate that’ll enter Celebrity Big Brother 2018 on Friday.
The all-female Celebrity Big Brother series launched on Channel 5 Tuesday evening, and eight female celebrities entered the house.
This year, the first group of residents are all women, to mark the 100th anniversary of women over 30 being given the vote.
The first male housemate to join the ladies on Friday ahead of the live evictions next week is former Liverpool star John Barnes.
Rylan Clark-Neal confirmed the news on Celebrity Big Brother’s Bit On The Side, he said: “I can confirm it’s going to be Liverpool legend and rap superstar… John Barnes,”
John, 54, will join this year’s CBB 2018 cast: MP Ann Widdecombe, Made In Chelsea’s Ashley James, Britain’s first transgender newsreader India Willoughby, Corrie actress Amanda Barrie, Ex On The Beach’s Jess Impiazzi, Khloe Kardashian’s BFF Malika Haqq, former Detective Constable Maggie Oliver, and journalist Rachel Johnson.
As the males descend on the house on Friday, Love Island’s Jonny Mitchell, The Apprentice candidate Andrew Brady and US R&B star Ginuwine have all been tipped to enter.
Celebrity Big Brother 2018 airs nightly on Channel 5.
