Matt Chapman has broken his silence since being fired from Dancing On Ice after just one show.
Dancing On Ice commentator Matt Chapman was axed from the show after one episode.
Dancing On Ice returned to ITV after a 4-year hiatus last Sunday, hosted by Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield.
The sports commentator made his debut on Dancing On Ice last Sunday, but he wasn’t a huge hit with the viewers.
Viewers thought Matt’s ‘boisterous approach’ was too much for the skating show.
Matt has since broken his silence and said he’s not holding any grudges against the show.
Speaking on ITV4 on Saturday, Matt said: “No Dancing on Ice for me tomorrow night,
“It has been such a fascinating experience – the celebs doing the skating, the hours a day they put in and the media attention put on them is unbelievable,
Matt continued: “And the professional skaters, it was so good to meet all of them,”
“Genuinely it was a really cool fun, really cool experience,”
The racing commentator added that he’ll be watching on Sunday evening.
TalkSPORT broadcaster, Sam Matterface has been announced by ITV as Matt’s replacement.
Dancing On Ice continues on ITV, Sunday night at 6pm.
