Spice Girls reunite: Is new music actually on the way?

The Spice Girls have officially been pictured together for the first time in years amid reports they are set to reform and release new music.

The Spice Girls are set the reunite in a ‘£50 million deal’ but is new music actually on the way?

‘Posh Spice’ Victoria Beckham, 43, ‘Ginger’ Geri Horner, 45, ‘Scary’ Mel Brown, 42, ‘Baby’ Emma Bunton, 42, and ‘Sporty’ Mel Chisholm, 44, have officially been pictured together for the first time in several years.

The last time The Spice Girls performed together as a five-piece was at the London Olympics in 2012.

Sources claim that the group have met up to discuss new projects – Including a television talent show, although Posh has only agreed to the terms if she doesn’t sing.

A source told The Sun: “This is the pop reunion no one thought would ever happen again. But after a long period of negotiation Victoria agreed the time is right to work on new projects this year. It’s very exciting because she has always been adamant she wouldn’t go back.”

The insider continued: “Victoria and Geri agreed it would be impossible to be part of a fully-fledged tour because of family and business commitments. Now that she’s a top designer Victoria is concerned about singing but she wants to make money to pump back into her business.”

Although no new music has been rumoured, a compilation album of greatest hits is reportedly in the works.
