Celebrity Big Brother bosses have upped security for tonight’s grand finale, and limited the amount of people allowed in the live audience.
Celebrity Big Brother bosses have limited the amount of people allowed in tonight’s final following multiple break-ins.
Security has been upped for tonight’s live final of CBB, and the audience limit halved from it’s usual size.
Television Audience Ticket outlet, Applause Store, usually provides audience members priority and non-priority tickets. Those with priority tickets can enter the studios guaranteed, but those carrying non-priority could be turned away.
Due to safety concerns following two break-ins, security are only allowing those with priority tickets to enter Elstree Studios tonight for CBB’s live final. Any audience members that have non-priority tickets are being turned away despite waiting hours in the cold.
One angry audience member said: “Obviously friends and family take priority when ticket holders get turned away after queuing since 11.30am and told to arrive by 8pm. Evening ruined. #cbb”
Another said: “Outside with folk that have been here since 11am. Absolutely disgusted. Arrive by 8pm?? And reject those at 11.30am at 8.30pm?? Appalling.”
Celebrity Big Brother producers are reportedly in talks to axe live evictions altogether for future series.
Tuesday night’s triple eviction had a 20-minute delay from the studio to viewers TV screens to avoid a possible third break-in.
Big Brother bosses are thinking about continuing to make Elstree Studios 20 minutes ahead of viewers at home for future broadcasts.
Celebrity Big Brother 2018 concludes on Channel 5 tonight at 9pm.
