Justin Timberlake’s Super Bowl halftime performance was one of the most anticipated shows in years – Rewatch his performance.

Justin Timberlake was one of the most anticipated halftime shows in years – thanks to his performance with Janet Jackson 14 years ago which is referred to as ‘nipplegate’.

Justin definitely brought ‘Sexy Back’ as he emerged singing his new single Filthy – He then launched straight into ‘Rock Your Body’.

JT had one of the greatest hits set featuring ‘Senorita’ to ‘SexyBack’ – Followed by ‘My Love’ and ‘Cry Me A River’.

He also touched on ‘Suit & Tie’ and ‘Until the End of Time’.

Justin paid tribute to Prince with a hologram part way through his show – Prince, who died last year, emerged as huge projection as the pair sang ‘I would Die 4 U’ together.

He had earlier denied reports that Prince would appear as a hologram – So this was a huge surprise.

Justin then closed his performance with ‘Mirrors’ followed by ‘Can’t Stop The Feeling’.

The show was watched by 37,000 people in the stadium – TV ratings have not yet been announced but expected in the coming days.

It wasn’t all perfect for Justin, many fans at home complained of poor sound quality, taking to Twitter to say they could not hear the singers’ words – but could clearly hear his backing singers.

There were rumours that Janet Jackson would join him on stage, but earlier that day she shut down speculation down by tweeting: “To put to rest any speculation or rumours as to whether I will be performing at the Super Bowl tomorrow: I will not.

“Thank you for your support and I do look forward to seeing you all very soon.”
