Rylan Clark-Neal left terrified by homophobic ghost on Celebrity Ghost Hunt

Rylan Clark-Neal was left terrified by a homophobic and racist ghost on Celebrity Ghost Hunt.

Celebrity Ghost Hunt returns for a brand new series, Rylan Clark-Neal and celebrity friends face their fears as they conduct paranormal investigations into supposed haunted locations across the country, searching for proof of the spirit world using the latest ghost-detecting gear.

In the first episode which airs tomorrow, Rylan and his team of celebrities are investigating a decommissioned secret nuclear bunker. With its history classified under the official secrets act what happened in the bunker is unknown, but there have been many reports of ghostly sightings and strange occurrences.

Psychic Alex Gibbs was filming with the stars when she encountered a homophobic and racist ghost, she told the Daily Star: “I tried to channel who was there through my guide and picked up a bad energy.

“I could sense the person was male but was using nasty words. They had very strong views. He was homophobic as well as racist and anti-women.

“Bobby suddenly became the worst affected. We had to get him out. He nearly passed out. He felt faint and sick.”

Rylan apparently felt uneasy by the spirits, Alex said: “Rylan didn’t like it either. And what was interesting was that he had sensed something bad in the place before we went in. He picked up the phrase ‘Backs against the walls, boys’ which is what homophobic people say when they encounter gay men.

“I had to shut this spirit down and we had to go. It’s since been confirmed that there was a man like this by someone who knows the history of the place.”

Rylan has three celebrities to help him find proof of the paranormal in episode 1 of Ghost Hunt – Love Island’s Marcel Somerville is joined by Geordie Shore’s Marnie Simpson and TOWIE’s Bobby Norris, and they are all keen to get the hunt underway.

Armed with a selection of ghost detecting gadgets, the celebrities hope to find out if there really are spirits roaming the corridors and stairwells of this former government facility.

Celebrity Ghost Hunt begins tomorrow at 10pm on 5STAR.
