Taylor Swift had admitted that she doesn’t allow her backing dancers to hear her songs during music video shoots to prevent track leaks.
Taylor Swift has revealed how she filmed the music video for her recent single ‘End Game ft. Ed Sheeran, Future’ without any of the backing dancers or on-hand crew leaking the music.
Taylor explained that her dancers in her ‘End Game’ music video were dancing to generic beats rather than the actual song.
The Look What You Made Me Do singer said: “I commend them fully,
“because they’ve been pretending like there’s music playing when there’s not.”
Taylor revealed that she has discreet headphones onset: “I have these in my ears. They’ve been dancing to a click track. It’s incredibly hard work.”
During scenes in the music video, Taylor is miming the lyrics with her in-ear headphones while the dancers dance to a click track.
Swift’s critically acclaimed sixth studio album, reputation, topped iTunes album charts in 111 countries and debuted at no.1 on the both the Official UK Albums Charts and the Billboard 200 album chart. Selling over 1.29 million copies in the U.S. week of release.
Taylor is the only artist in history to have four albums selling over one million copies in their first week of release in the U.S. (2010’s Speak Now, 2012’s RED, 2014’s 1989 and 2017’s reputation).
Taylor Swift is set to tour the UK later this year.
