‘Thanks for all the love’ Declan Donnelly confirms he’s expecting a baby with wife Ali Astall

Declan Donnelly has confirmed that he’s set to become a dad for the very first time with wife Ali Astall.

Declan Donnelly has said ‘thanks for all the love’ as he confirms he’s expecting a baby with wife Ali Astall.

It’s been reported that Ali, 40, fell pregnant following Dec’s, 42, departure from the jungle in December following the 2017 series of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here.

Dec and Ali married in 2015 after dating for only a year, but they had been working together for over 10 years as Ali was Dec’s talent manager.

A source told The Sun: “This has come at a difficult time for them both, given everything that Ant is now going through and the pressure that has put on Dec in the past week.”

The insider added: “They have both always wanted a family but worried that it might not happen for them. They have been keeping the pregnancy a closely guarded secret, but now that Ali is safely over 12 weeks, they are starting to let people know,”

Dec has now confirmed the news on Sunday afternoon (March 25) in a tweet, it read: “Just wanted to say thank you for all the lovely messages.

“The news has sneaked out a little earlier than we had hoped but Ali and I are delighted to be expecting our first child.”

Dec added: “Thanks for all the love, we really appreciate it D x”

Dec said in an interview last year he’d love kids saying “kids are absolutely one of the things on the cards for us.”
