Music mogul Simon Cowell has revealed he spent £2,000 on a facelift, and it ‘hurt like hell’.
The X Factor boss has been open in the past about undergoing botox treatments, but now he’s taken it a step further.
Simon, 58, has revealed he underwent a non-surgical ‘sewing bioplastic-infused thread” facelift that cost £2000.
He said the procedure “hurt like hell” in a recent interview with The Sun on Sunday newspaper.
Simon said: “There’s lots of things you can do now. You don’t just have to stuff your face with filler and Botox.
“It hurts like hell but it gets rid of sun damage and unplugs all the crap.
“For me now, it’s all about having clean skin. If you have clean skin, you look better. But you have to be very careful with some of this stuff.”
According to the paper, Simon visited cosmetic surgeon Jean-Louis Sebagh, known as the “Picasso of dermatology”, for a Silhouette Soft Lift.
Sebagh’s celebrity clients reportedly include Kylie Minogue (49), Cindy Crawford (52) and Carol Vorderman (57).
Simon regularly takes vitamin drips behind the scenes of his ITV shows The X Factor and Britain’s Got Talent because they can ‘be damaging on his health’.
A source said: “During the series he’ll receive regular drips of vitamin B12, C and magnesium to remain on top form.
“The auditions and live shows often go well into the night and can be very tiring and Simon wants to look and feel as fresh as possible. He also likes to receive anti-ageing facials which can last two hours.”
