Celebrity Big Brother producers have reportedly been told ‘to do whatever it takes’ to sign Queer Eye’s Jonathan Van Ness for the new series.

CBB 2018 eye

Celebrity Big Brother bosses are said to be ‘desperate’ to sign Queer Eye’s Jonathan Van Ness for the new series of Celebrity Big Brother that starts this month, according to a report.

A source told The Sun: “Bosses know what a hit Queer Eye has become and everyone’s obsessed with Jonathan.

“The show has become an international success and Jonathan would make amazing TV for the show.

“They are desperate to land him for the next series and have told producers to do whatever it takes to get him to sign on the dotted line.”

Channel 5 teased the up-coming series of CBB last month by saying: “All of the celebrity names entering the house will have been caught up in their own media storm.

“And now, the celebrities are once again putting themselves in the public eye and this time they have a lot to prove.”

Other names linked to the show include Meghan Markle’s half-sister Samantha – and controversial porn star Stormy Daniels.

Channel 5 have confirmed that Celebrity Big Brother: Eye of the Storm will launch on Thursday 16th August along with a special episode, that’ll air the next day named ‘A Storm Unleashed’.
