Strictly Come Dancing bosses are reportedly planning a ‘Harry Potter themed special’ for this year’s series.
Strictly Come Dancing has reportedly partnered with the ‘world’s biggest movie franchise for a Harry Potter special’, according to a report.
Strictly bosses want to bring Hogwarts to the ballroom, or at the very least host the show from the Warner Bros Studios Tour.
According to a report by The Sun, Strictly bosses hope to use some props from the Harry Potter films and the backdrop of the iconic sets.
A insider told the paper: “Strictly and Warner Bros have been in top secret talks.
“Hopefully studio reps will agree to allow the celebrities to dance with some of the most iconic props, like Harry’s broom used by Daniel Radcliffe or Hermione’s cloak worn by Emma Watson.”
The source added: “It’s the first time Strictly will have done a special like this so they are pulling out all of the stops.”
Strictly Come Dancing 2018 launches at the start of September on BBC1.
