Ariana Grande pays tribute to Mac Miller following his tragic death

Ariana Grande has paid tribute to rapper Mac Miller a week after his tragic death.

Ariana Grande has broken her silence a week after Mac Miller’s death to say she was ‘so sorry she couldn’t fix him or take his pain away’.

US rapper Mac Miller tragically passed away last Friday at the age of 26 – according to a report from a suspected overdose.

Ariana has now paid tribute to the rapper on Instagram, she said: “I adored you from the day I met you when I was nineteen and i always will. I can’t believe you aren’t here anymore,

“I really can’t wrap my head around it. We talked about this. So many times. I’m so mad, I’m so sad i don’t know what to do.

Ariana added: “You were my dearest friend. for so long. Above anything else. I’m so sorry I couldn’t fix or take your pain away. I really wanted to. The kindest, sweetest soul with demons he never deserved. I hope you’re okay now. rest.”

According to the report, the US rapper was having trouble with substance abuse, following his break up from Ariana in May.

The report said: “Mac was found Friday at around noon at his San Fernando Valley home and was pronounced dead at the scene.”

Mac Miller is reported to have had recent problems with substance abuse after he crashed his car in May and was arrested for DUI and hit and run.
