Miley Cyrus set to release ‘Bangerz 2.0’ following her social media disappearance

Miley Cyrus is reportedly set to release a new album this year that’s said to be ‘Bangerz 2.0’.

In July 2018, Miley Cyrus deleted every single post on her Instagram – and disappeared from social media completely.

Many artists have done this in the past, removing all posts from social media and then out of the blue release teasers of their upcoming material – Taylor Swift and Harry Styles have done the same.

Miley’s forthcoming album is said to be ‘Bangerz 2.0’, according to her younger sister Noah Cyrus.

“At Noah’s show today I confronted Adam about the blackout and he said she was gonna be done with it very soon, and I asked about a Bangerz 2.0 and he said “we’re going for something like that typa sound,” a fan wrote on Twitter.

Mark Ronson and Miley Cyrus have already collaborated earlier this year on new music although it hasn’t been released yet. Mark uploaded a picture to his Instagram account on June 26, revealing that he and Cyrus “wrote of my favorite songs” together in a recording booth.

He added “coming soon.” to the end of the post.

It’s also been reported that Miley has collaborated with Lady Gaga, according to Us Weekly.

A new album is in the works For Miley,” a source told the site. “She has been in New York since middle of this week and is officially working on new music.”

“She has been recording at the same [Electric Lady Studio] that Gaga uses” adding that Miley has “been recording the past few nights till 4 a.m.”
