Ariana Grande could be set to headline Saturday’s Jingle Bell Ball 2018

Ariana Grande could be set to headline Day 1 of Capital’s Jingle Bell Ball 2018 next month at London’s O2 Arena.

Capital’s Jingle Bell Ball with Coca-Cola is back and it’s bigger than ever, this morning Capital FM revealed Saturday’s lineup.

On Saturday December 8th and Sunday December 9th, the world’s hottest hit music stars will jet in to London to perform live exclusively for Capital listeners at the iconic O2 Arena.

Now in its eleventh year, Capital’s Jingle Bell Ball is always a sell-out event. Last year, more than 30,000 fans flocked to the Ball over two days to see performances from global stars including Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, Dua Lipa, Sam Smith and The Chainsmokers.

This morning on Capital Breakfast, Roman Kemp revealed the first huge names confirmed for night one of the UK’s biggest Christmas party.

Saturday’s lineup features Rita Ora, Ellie Goulding, Liam Payne, Anne-marie, Olly Murs, Jonas Blue Rak-su, James Arthur and Halsey – But it’s missing one headliner.

Capital FM teased the headliner for Saturday by saying: “She has 10 billion views on YouTube”.

At the time of writing this article, Ariana has 10,091,336,821 views on YouTube.

Capital will not confirm the headliner for Day 1 until this Wednesday.

Ariana dropped a new single on Saturday called ‘Thank U, Next’ that references all of ex boyfriends including Mac Miller, Pete Davidson and Big Sean.

In the song Ariana mentioned her two year relationship with Mac Miller that ended in May, four months before Mac’s death, Ari sings: “Wish I could say thank you to Malcolm/ ’cause he was an angel”.

Tickets go on general sale for Jingle Bell Ball on Capital FM’s website this Thursday at 8am.  Capital VIPs have access to the first tickets in the pre-sale from this Tuesday at 8am
