Capital’s Jingle Bell Ball 2018: Roman Kemp announces Sunday’s lineup

Roman Kemp has announced the lineup for Day 2 of Capital’s Jingle Bell Ball 2018.

On Monday 5 November, the lineup for Saturday’s Jingle Bell Ball was revealed and it features Rita Ora, Ellie Goulding, Liam Payne, Anne-Marie, Olly Murs, Jonas Blue, Rak-Su, James Arthur and Halsey.

The big reveal continued on Capital Breakfast this morning as Roman Kemp announced more world class acts for Capital’s Jingle Bell Ball with Coca-Cola.

Some of the world’s biggest artists will play night two of the UK’s biggest Christmas party at London’s O2 on Sunday December 9th.

First up to be confirmed for night two of the Ball was Sigala. One of the UK’s biggest DJs and producers, he is guaranteed to get the party started with his massive dance hits.

Next, Roman announced that one of the biggest breakthrough sensations of the year  Mabel – will play the Ball. In the past twelve months, the hugely talented RnB singer-songwriter has released hits including ‘One Shot’ and ‘Finders Keepers’, toured Europe with Harry Styles and won the prestigious ‘Rising Star Award’ at the inaugural Global Awards.

Roman then confirmed that Grammy Award-winning artist Jess Glynne will return to the Ball. The record-breaking star has scored more number ones on The Official Vodafone Big Top 40 than any other artist in the chart’s history.

Jess told Capital Breakfast’s Roman Kemp: “I love Capital’s Jingle Bell Ball! I’ve done it a couple of times and it’s always been such a blessing, so I’m really grateful to be invited to come back.

“My favourite thing about the Ball is that you get to stand on the stage with a load of other great artists and have a lot of fun!”

Other artists confirmed for Sunday’s Ball are: Years & Years, Jax Jones, Clean Bandit, Zara Larsson and  global superstar Jason Derulo will jet in especially to perform for Capital listeners.

Lastly, Cheryl will return to play Capital’s Jingle Bell Ball for the first time since 2012. As a member of Girls Aloud and then as a hugely successful solo star in her own right, Cheryl is one of the UK’s best loved female artists.

Tickets for Capital’s Jingle Bell Ball 2018 go onsale this Thursday (November 8) at 8am.
