Coleen Nolan has revealed the real reason why she left Loose Women in a recent interview.
Coleen Nolan has revealed that she was forced off Loose Women after she received death threats following her argument with Kim Woodburn.
The 53-year-old told The Mirror‘s Notebook magazine: “Everything spiralled. I’d ploughed on with work and hadn’t faced up to my divorce. But when the death threats happened it was a catalyst and it all hit me. I needed to get a grip on my life,”
Coleen was accused of bullying former Celebrity Big Brother housemate, Kim Woodburn, on the ITV show in September 2018.
Ofcom received a huge amount of complaints (over 7,000) about the argument that occurred on the chat show.
Coleen added in the interview: “I’d ploughed on with work and hadn’t faced up to my divorce, but when the death threats happened it was a catalyst and it all hit me. I needed to get a grip on my life.”
Coleen’s sister Bernie, died from breast cancer in 2013.
“You have to be made of steel to not be affected by hurtful comments. But when people were saying things like, ‘I hope you die of cancer like your sister’, it was time to stop,” Coleen said.
Coleen returned to Loose Women following a three month break.
