Capital’s Summertime Ball 2019: Maroon 5, Jess Glynne, Lauv and Ava Max confirmed to perform

Capital FM have this morning announced more incredible artists that’ll take to the Summertime Ball stage in June.

This morning on Capital Breakfast, Roman Kemp confirmed more incredible artists for Capital’s Summertime Ball, which takes place on Saturday 8th June at London’s iconic Wembley Stadium.

Maroon 5, Jess Glynne, Lauv, Ava Max, Jonas Blue and Mabel were announced on Capital Breakfast this morning. They join Halsey, Mark Ronson, Jonas Brothers, 5 Seconds of Summer, Khalid and Ellie Goulding on the bill for the UK’s hottest summer party, with even more huge names set to be revealed on Capital Breakfast with Roman Kemp tomorrow morning.

Maroon 5 are one of the world’s biggest bands and best-selling artists. The three-time Grammy award winners have sold tens of millions of albums worldwide and are flying in to perform their massive hits for Capital listeners.

Their latest single ‘Girls Like You’ featuring Cardi B topped charts across the globe, including the Billboard Hot 100. In February, they wowed a global audience of 100 million with a spectacular half time show at the Super Bowl, and this June 80,000 Capital listeners will be singing along to their epic anthems in Wembley Stadium.

US singer-songwriter Lauv will also join the bill for Capital’s Summertime Ball. The platinum-selling singer and pop visionary has one of the hottest songs in the world right now with hit single “i’m so tired” with Troye Sivan.

Roman Kemp continued the morning of announcements with the news that rising pop sensation Ava Max will make her Capital’s Summertime Ball debut this June. Ava Max scored one of the biggest hits of the year so far with the worldwide smash hit ‘Sweet but Psycho’, which spent three weeks at the top of The Official Big Top 40.

The hotly tipped star topped Billboard’s ‘Emerging Artists’ chart and was named by influential US magazine PAPER as one its ‘100 People Taking Over 2019’.

Ashley Tabor OBE, Founder & Executive President of Global, said: “This year’s Capital’s Summertime Ball is already shaping up to be another phenomenal show at Wembley.

“Some of the world’s hottest bands, DJs, solo artists and rising stars will play the UK’s biggest summer party this June, and tomorrow things are about to get even bigger as Roman Kemp will confirm yet more huge artists for the Ball on Capital Breakfast!”

Tickets go on general sale for Capital’s Summertime Ball this Thursday at 8am.
