Rav Wilding has had to pull out of Tom Daley’s ITV show Splash! after suffering from a blood clot in his lung.
The 36 year old TV presenter sustained a hamstring avulsion in December 2013 and went to hospital to under go surgery on his leg. He was making a good recovery until New Year’s Eve when he was rushed to hospital after complaining of chest pains.
Rav was treated for his chest pains and discharged, but returned to A+E the following day when it was identified that he was suffering a blood clot in his lung caused by post-hospital complications.
Wilding is still seriously ill , his rep confirmed last night: “He is in a really bad way right now.”
However Wilding is now out of hospital and recovering at home, his fiancée tweeted yesterday:
Glad to finally have @RavWilding home from hospital. Week from hell…
