Ant & Dec will return for Saturday Night Takeaway’s eighteenth series this weekend on ITV with a live studio audience.
ITV have confirmed that Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway 2022 will start on Saturday, 19 February at 7PM on ITV and ITV Hub.
The new series will feature undercover pranks, surprises galore, star guests and a chance for a member of the audience to win the items advertised in one of last week’s commercial breaks.
Stephen Mulhern will return for Ant v Dec, Fleur East will be ready and waiting to switch on the Takeaway Rainbow and Jeremy Clarkson is the first victim of an undercover prank on his farm for the new series.
An insider told TwitCelebGossip that the show will be following government guidelines and ‘rules permitting’ it should be a live audience this Saturday.
Last year for the seventeenth series, Saturday Night Takeaway had the ‘world first’ virtual interactive audience by partnering up with Kinetic Pixel.
Craig Hann, managing director of Kinetic Pixel, said: “The system is designed to enable live shows to benefit from a live virtual audience while allowing seamless interactivity between the hosts and the audience.”
