The Voice UK: Emma Said She’s “terrified” Of The Live Shows!

New host of the hit talent show The Voice UK has relieved that she is “terrified” of the live shows.

Even though the series is still only in the blind audition stages, Emma has begun to think to the future, confessing that she is already nervous for the live finals which start in the spring.

Emma is currently presenting for Celebrity Big Brother on Channel 5 but has admitted that this is her biggest gig to date”This is the biggest audience I’ll have ever worked to and that is terrifying.

“But if you’re doing something you love, and you’re genuinely into it, that is the last thing on your mind.Once you’re out there and you’re into it, you just enjoy it and have fun.”

Emma replaced Holly Willoughby this year and she is now working alongside former JLS member Marvin Humes. The BBC offered Emma the job without so much as a screen test. “I never thought that my first job for the BBC would be on one of its flagship prime time shows,” she told the Daily Mirror. “My agent called and told me I’d been offered it outright, which had never happened to me before.”

Emma has said that she feels like it’s a massive jump from Big Brother to The Voice “It’s because I know the show inside out and I feel comfortable there. The Voice is relatively new but it’s a massive show, a worldwide success,” she added. “You don’t want to be the one who lets the team down.”

The Voice continues on Saturday night at 7pm on BBC One.
