ITV2 has delayed its Big Brother UK reboot until Autumn 2023.
The highly anticipated reboot of Big Brother for ITV2 has been delayed from its original Spring 2023 launch date.
Big Brother was one of the original UK reality TV programs, which launched the careers of several ITV stars. However, due to ITV’s packed schedule of reality TV in the first half of 2023, including the winter run of ‘Love Island’ and a special All Stars series of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here, the network has decided to delay the launch of ‘Big Brother’ to Autumn 2023 to avoid a clash between the two shows.
No further details have been confirmed about the reboot of Big Brother at this time.
While the delay gives ITV more room to breathe, it has sparked concerns that the show could now face competition from ‘Married At First Sight UK’ which has become a major hit for ITV2 rival E4.
