It is in talks that Simon Cowell will be rejoining his TV show The X Factor when it returns later this year!
Reports strongly suggest that Cowell will confirm his comeback to the judging panel within the new few weeks.
Other stars which may be taking a seat next to the main man himself could include the return of Cheryl Cole who judged in the 2008-2010 series.
Rita Ora could also be in the line-up after she who was seen doing some guest judging in the early stages of The X Factor back in 2011. Of course, there is no doubt that Louis Walsh will also return to his chair.
Last series judges Gary Barlow and Sharon Osbourne have already announced their departure after the series ended while Nicole Sherzinger has dropped hints of leaving to focus on promoting her new album.
A source has said “Simon has been annoyed about how the show has fallen off people’s radars and lagged behind Strictly in the ratings – now he wants to fix it.” then continued with “His return has been up in the air for some time – and ITV chiefs have been desperate for confirmation.” Ending the statement with “But now he has confirmed he is back for good.”
It seems everyone, including viewers have missed Simon and it seems only correct to get him back in the chair and find some new music talent!
