Ariana Grande has spoken out about the arrest of Justin Bieber earlier in the week.
Ariana has hit back at those who have made a joke of the singer’s anticts, describing the whole situation and “serious and upsetting.”
Bieber was arrested on Thursday, 23rd January, in Miami on suspicion of driving under the influence, resisting arrest and driving with an expired licence.
Grande who is a friend of Justin’s and supported him on his ‘Believe Tour’ last year has spoken about the concern she feels for him in an interview with Boston Radio Station Mix 104.1.
During the interview, she stated “I think it’s really serious. I’ve seen tweets of people making fun of the mugshot and all this stuff and it’s so ignorant.”
Then going on to continue saying “It’s gotten to a point where I just want him to be okay. It’s this very serious thing. It’s not like just a kid who’s, you know screwing around, and it’s dangerous. It’s very serious and upsetting.”
She also included “He’s the most viable and yet isolated human being I’ve ever met.”
Superstar Lady Gaga has also spoken out after Bieber’s arrest, encouraging her followers and fans to support the 19-year-old’s supporters.
Gaga said “Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and to stand up for themselves, but I think we should be supportive of Beliebers. They deserve, just like any other fan, to feel strong for each other and Justin so they can continue to share the bond they have through music.”
