David Walliams came to the rescue on the weekend when Simon Cowell choked on one of his mints!
Amanda Holden was quick to offer her help to the BGT boss, patting him on the back, however David Walliams 
decided to take it one step further and started to perform the Heimlich manoeuvre on him!
A BGT insider explained:
“In between watching auditions, Simon was enjoying a mint — when all of a sudden it must have got lodged in his throat.
“As soon as David noticed Simon was in trouble he leapt up from his chair.
“He put his all into giving him the Heimlich manoeuvre, but seemed to enjoy it a little too much.”
Another source from The Daily Mirror added:
“Thankfully the mint got dislodged and Simon was able to continue but he was a bit flustered for the next few auditions. He owes David his life now!”
This drama comes after Simon nearly being killed by an eleven year old stunt performer who got him to stand at a wooden board whilst knives were thrown at the music mogul. The second knife was a very near miss and nearly stabbed Simon! Oops!
The Britain’s Got Talent auditions will air on ITV in the Spring.
