The Book of Mormon, a brilliant creation by the renowned trio Trey Parker, Matt Stone, and Robert Lopez, first took the world by storm with its Broadway debut. Parker and Stone, celebrated for their Emmy and Peabody award-winning TV sensation, South Park, along with their notable works such as South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut and Team America: World Police, bring their unparalleled wit and humour to the stage.
Lopez, the genius behind the Broadway hit Avenue Q, and the mastermind behind the soulful melodies of Disney’s Frozen and Coco, stands as the first and only double ‘EGOT’ winner, having claimed the Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony Awards not just once, but twice.
The heart-warming yet hilarious storyline of The Book of Mormon follows the journey of two young Mormon missionaries dispatched to a distant land far from their familiar Salt Lake City.
Since its debut at New York’s Eugene O’Neill Theatre in March 2011, where it clinched a whopping nine Tony Awards, including the prestigious Best Musical accolade, The Book of Mormon has not only graced stages across three continents but has also amassed over thirty international awards. Its record-breaking feats at the box office in New York, London, Melbourne, Sydney, and various cities across the United States solidify its status as a global sensation.

The London production, which premiered at the Prince of Wales Theatre in February 2013, etched its name in West End history by setting the record for the highest single day of sales. The show went on to secure four Olivier Awards, including the coveted title of Best New Musical.
