Cheryl Cole is set to release her fourth solo studio album later this year, just in time for her return to The X Factor.

Following a single, the Girls Aloud star’s album will be released in Autumn 2014, just as the auditions for The X Factor will start to be filmed.
Cheryl said this about her comeback to the massive talent show; “I’m very happy and excited to be returning to The X Factor. I’m inspired and ready to find new talent and potential pop stars. It’s going to be a fun series.”
The Sun Newspaper explained that Cheryl doesn’t want the talent show to take over her life like it did last time and she wants to focus on her music career, as well as her TV career.
“Her new album is virtually finished and she has a great new single she’ll release this summer,” a source told the tabloid earlier in the week.
Simon Cowell is rumoured to wanting to sign Cheryl Cole to his record label, saying;
“I always said to Cheryl you want a label at Sony I would do it in a heartbeat because she is a really good judge of talent. Like I said the job she did with Cher Lloyd was incredible. If anyone else was mentoring her it would have been a disaster. The idea of Louis Walsh mentoring Cher would have been a disaster.”
