Disney announce the makings of The Incredibles 2 and Cars 3!

Disney have announced that they are making a sequel to The Incredibles and a third movie of the Cars films.

Many people were extremely excited about the announcement of Finding Dory which is set to be released next year, and it seems it has set the ball rolling for Disney as they have announced the makings of two new long awaited films. The CEO of Disney revealed the news in Oregon on Tuesday, although no other news about the two films were revealed. But we were told that the original Incredibles will be re-released in 3D as well as Ratatouille.

The Incredibles

In 2007 Brad Bird, the director of The Incredibles talked about the sequel”  I have pieces of things that I would love to see in a sequel, but I haven’t got them all together yet, and I certainly wouldn’t want to come out there with something that is less than the original.”

The original film was released in 2004 and took more than $631 million at the global box office as well as winning two Oscars. Now, a decade later The Incredibles 2 may see how the new generation of superheroes including baby Jack- Jack are getting on.

Cars

Cars was released in 2006 and it was huge success all around the world, however  the sequel was not received well critically but still sold a lot of merchandise. The new film is set to be bigger and better than those before it.

Although no new Pixar films will be released this year we can still get excited about the release of Finding Dory in 2015 as well as Inside Out which is set inside the mind of an 11 year old girl.
