The huge Disney hit Frozen has sold 3.2 million copies on its day of release in the US!
The company hope that these impressive sales will make Frozen one of the biggest entertainment releases in a decade. Since its release the film has done incredibly well as it became the fastest-selling digital release of all time upon its debut on Digital HD and Digital 3D on February 25. And as if that wasn’t enough, the film has also hit the $1 billion mark at the worldwide box office earlier this month, making it the seventh Disney film to do so. The Avengers, Iron Man 3, Toy Story 3, Alice in Wonderland and Pirates of the Caribbean’s second and fourth films have also achieved this incredible landmark.
The film also won Best Original Song and Best Animated Feature at this years Oscars. The song sung by Glee’s Idina Menzel has done amazingly well in the charts both in the US and the UK.
The DVD is set to be released in the UK on March the 31st but will the film sell more in the UK?
