Britain’s Got Talent’s Jack Carroll to join Big School!

The Britain's Got Talent finalist Jack Carroll will appear in the next series of David Walliams sitcom Big School.


As well as David being the main actor in Big School, he also writes the BBC One sitcom,which follows the relationship of teachers in a secondary school. Catherine Tate also stars in the sitcom alongside David as a French teacher that David’s character has a crush on.

Jack Carroll, who came second in last years Britain’s Got Talent, will play Dean, a new student at Greybridge school. The comedian, who suffers from cerebral palsy, will see his character be taken under the wing by Catherine Tate’s character Miss Postern.

Walliams told The Sun:

“I am excited to be welcoming so many talented new faces to the show – and it’s great to be working with Jack.”

Former Holby City star Jimmy Akingbola will also appear in the next series of Big School. He will play a hunky teacher named Mr Dalton, who gets the hearts beating among the female teachers.

Charlotte Moore Controller of BBC One -announced that the show would be getting a second series last year.

She said at the time: “I loved the fact that we were in a new precinct and environment, with a stellar cast.”
