Piers remained coy on Twitter yesterday over reports of him going for the return of Britain’s Got Talent next year.
The former judge, who now has a gap in his time, following the loss of his news series on CNN, was linked to the show by a gossip column in the Daily Mail.

It is said that David Walliams and Simon Cowell are no longer getting on as well behind-the-scenes and it was then implied that he could be dropped for Piers in 2015.
However, Walliams dismissed these rumours by tweeting:
“According to the @MailOnline I am being replaced on #BGT by @piersmorgan It’s on their website so it must be true”.
To which Morgan appeared to relish the speculations by adding “no comment” in reply to David’s previous tweet.
Piers Morgan was on the first four series of the talent show, where the panel discovered acts such as Susan Boyle and Diversity.
David received his panel position in 2012 to help rejuvenate the show’s ratings.
