Dougie Poynter and Ellie Goulding have both confirmed their romance!

Singer Ellie Goulding and McFly singer Dougie Poynter have both confirmed that they are together!

Whilst on Alan Carr: Chatty Man Ellie confirmed that she is dating McFly singer Dougie Poynter for the first time. Ellie has been rumored to be dating Dougie for months and spoke about the relation ship with Alan Carr.

When asked on Chatty Man if the rumors are true, Goulding said: “Err, he’s my man friend. Boyfriend traditionally.”

She added: “He’s a very lovely human being.”

On how long they have been together, she said: “Well I don’t know. We were sort of friends for quite a long time.”

Dougie also confirmed their relationship earlier this week whilst talking to Fearne during Fearne and…McBusted special. Although it was clear he was uncomfortable discussing the topic.

In the past Ellie has dated  Skrillex and Greg James.

Ellie Goulidng is on Alan Carr: Chatty Man tonight on Channel 5 at 9pm as well as John Cleese, Mary Portas and Richard Ayoade.
